GottaBeMobile.com had an awesome link to an article showing some Concept designs from HP showing off how tablet PC’s and other personal computers could look in the near future.
I just loved this photo of a futuristic Tablet PC …
I just hope it’s not going to shatter soon and there is a way to turn off the transparency so I can focus on the program rather than the background!
There are a few more interesting photos to look at and a few ideas that they discuss too. Interesting points …
- Recharging without any power cables (this already exists for some laptops) will become the norm
- Display and data synchronization between your various wearable devices and home appliances will be seamless and instantaneous
- There is a possibility for task-specific computers (this makes some sense sometimes … but multi-use devices will still be the norm.

Anything that expects you to use tactile input methods for text is lame

Just cause you can’t move pen and paper to a keyboard doesn’t make it lame. ;-)

My bad. I’ve been writing horrible stuff all day i.e. writing what I don’t mean. Didn’t realize keyboard is also “tactile-ish”. Was thinking touch screens. Gaah!
Things I hate in decreasing order
* using stylus on plastic to write
* touch sensitive screen “keyboards”

ughh You have been up to late. I was making an analogy:
aj’s move to stylus:Aj’s keyboard::An old guy’s move to keyboard:his pencil
:-D
just a joke- before you take this seriosuly too and kill me!
