This is a test of a blog entry being written using Microsoft’s new Windows Live Writer.
So far, what I’ve seen about the installation and configuration of the software makes me happy. They have taken care of many small issues that could have irritated power bloggers as well as novices.
The settings to setup your blog account. You enter your blog url (yup, no specific page, just the main website address to your blog), the username and password and you are set. It automatically discovers information about your blog and configures itself. The FTP image upload is just as easy.
This photo of Sonali’s was directly linked to from another website …
This other photo was uploaded from my computer.
and WOW, I can add some image effects directly from within Writer!
Same image, just brighter using a Colour Pop
Sweet!

Will give this a try (whenever I come around to writing a post… :p)
Till now I have been using BlogJet, but the only issue with it is that it’s not free…

Actually we haven´t watched the full movie that many times.

Arwind,
At 3 am, it tough to search for her image on the web. Though, I agree, my first HDD has a better collection than on the laptop.
Heh!
Having a less-technical-than-usual moment, are we?
* You aren´t giving away the password to another service provider. Windows Writer is software you install on yoru computer, like Y! messenger or Outlook or WS FTP.
But yes, we should allowed to enter the password each time, not have it save it by default.
Next thing you´ll tell me .. not to give away my gmail password to firefox!

Having a i-dont-know-what-ms-builds-these-days moment
Windows Writer Live sounds like it has something to do with the internet and that it could to managing your stuff on the server side or so I assumed when I read. I may be wrong

Sorry, those things are now done by Google, didn’t you know?
For example, the excellent Google Firefox Sync!
