Today was my wear-the-Indian-Cricket-team-shirt-to-office day.
Needless to say, I got tons of curious looks from both Americans (who didn’t know what it was) and Indians (who didn’t know which match had India won!).
Piet, the Bostonian in my office, was happy seeing this, considering I recently rooted for the Red Sox throughout the Yankees and Cardinals games.
The real surprise was when he demanded an impromptu singing of the Indian National Anthem.
While I stood at attention and sang it, Piet and Mike both also stood at attention.
